No Limit to become MP3.com shareholder is attracting more name-brand talent. The company has entered a three-year deal with Boutit Inc., parent of No Limit Records, the label for such acts as Snoop Dogg and Master P.
MP3.com obtained "certain rights to a number" of No Limit master recordings. No Limit artists will be invited to participate in MP3.com online chat rooms, display MP3.com signs at concerts, hold concerts and engage in other promotional activities.
MP3.com will split revenues
generated under the agreement
"at varying rates depending on the
source of revenue," the filing stated. No Limit also will become an MP3.com stockholder.
